What you get

A single Excel workbook with six coordinated sheets that track up to six loans from the first payment to the last. Every figure — monthly payment, remaining balance, total interest — calculates automatically as you enter or adjust your loan details. The file works in Excel 2016 and later and can be uploaded to Google Sheets.

Who it's for

Anyone carrying more than one debt at the same time: homeowners with a mortgage and a home equity line, graduates balancing student loans and a car note, business owners servicing multiple financing agreements. It is most useful at the point where minimum payments feel manageable but the total interest picture does not.

• Interest Dashboard — a single-screen summary of total interest paid and remaining across the full portfolio, with a side-by-side comparison of snowball versus avalanche outcomes
• Payoff Projections tab — displays the projected debt-free date for each individual loan and for the portfolio as a whole under your current payment plan
• Auto-calculated monthly payments — standard amortization formulas handle every computation; no manual math required beyond entering your loan terms

How to use it

Download the .xlsx file and open it in Excel, or upload it directly to Google Sheets. Begin on the Loan Inputs tab, fill in your loan details, and the remaining sheets populate immediately. To model different payoff scenarios, adjust the extra-payment fields on the Per-Loan Amortization Schedule or toggle strategies in the Snowball/Avalanche Planner and the Interest Dashboard and Payoff Projections tabs will update accordingly.
